Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance Partners with Zahtaya Solutions

April 9, 2019

Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance, the global training and advisory institute, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with South African advisory and training firm Zahtaya Solutions. The partnership with Zahtaya extends Ethica’s reach across the African continent, now one of the world’s booming Islamic finance markets. The synergy between the two companies brings Ethica’s online training solutions together with Zahtaya’s local and regional penetration.

Zahtaya will be marketing Ethica’s online Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE) program to banks, universities, and individuals. Mohsien Hassim, Zahtaya’s Managing Director, said, “Zahtaya Solutions' decision to become a strategic marketing partner with Ethica is based on our first hand experience of their online CIFE program. Ethica offers Shariah-compliant training courses on a robust e-learning platform with easy to follow rich content on the important concepts of Islamic finance. The level of support and the wealth of Islamic finance knowledge residing within Ethica provides comfort that the content is of the correct standard, globally acceptable, and backed by the appropriate Shariah requirements. Zahtaya Solutions is pleased to be part of this growth and we strongly believe in providing Islamic finance to everyone that has an interest in this fascinating and exciting field.”

Ethica’s spokesperson said, “Zahtaya brings a passionate team to a burgeoning African market. Their local presence strikes the balance we were looking for in a partner: internationally focused with deep corporate and academic networks for supporting Africa’s Islamic finance growth. South Africa has historically been an important beacon of traditional Islamic scholarship. With Zahtaya’s partnership Ethica looks forward to supporting the spread of this scholarship in the area of Islamic finance.”

This partnership marks the first of several new partnerships Ethica has forged following its recent tour of Africa. Ethica has had over 15,000 paying professionals in 65 countries go through its programs.

Zahtaya Solutions key focus areas include Islamic Finance, Risk Management, Strategy, Audit, Digital Transformation and Corporate Finance (including Fund Raising).
